The Healthy Christian: Everyday Healthy Recipes and Nutritional Insights is a culmination of my more than twenty years of holistic health knowledge and experience as a certified Holistic Health Counselor. Remember, our bodies are temples in which God's Holy Spirit is intended to dwell. For this reason, each of us should treat our body with respect and love, giving it the proper nutrition and attention it deserves. Today more than ever, we need to be prudent about the realities of our current food industry, food and water supply, and environmental toxins and how these realities can harm and destroy our bodies. With so many different diet programs and nutritional authorities on the health scene today, it is challenging knowing just who and what to believe.
Often times, health can deteriorate rapidly because the body's natural process of cellular regeneration is undermined by a variety of unhealthy factors; poor nutrition being just one of them. Because the body is holistic, everything we consume, combined with our thoughts, words, emotions, actions, and environment, affects the body's ability to heal itself. These factors and other nutritional insights are discussed within my book.
