To complete this module:
- Submit 15 recorded test sessions via Dropbox, as instructed below.
- Schedule your final review session.
Final Assignment
Select 12 test clients (10 individuals and 2 couples) to work with. You can find test clients from within your own network of family, friends, social media contacts, and co-workers. Ask potential test clients if they would be interested in receiving some counseling in exchange for being one of your test clients for field work that you need to complete for a Christian Counseling Training Course you are taking. Most of the time you will find those within your network are more than happy to get some "free" counseling!
Ask all interested test clients to submit a Contact Information Form. Once you receive a test client's CIF, schedule a session with him/her. Next, conduct a session with each of your test clients, and record each one in Zoom. If needed, refer back to Training Module 3 to review steps for how to onboard a new client and conduct client sessions.
To complete this final assignment, submit a total of 15 recorded sessions, according to the breakdown in the table below. Please submit everything listed under the "What to Submit" column. See instructions for how to submit your field work below the table. Please note, a few of your test clients may turn into your first ongoing ministry clients!

How To Submit Your Field Work
Due to the large file size of the session recordings, please use Dropbox for uploading your field work. Create a folder on Dropbox titled, [Your Name's] Field Work. Place each of your recorded test client sessions inside your Dropbox folder and label each file by "session type" and "name of test client" (e.g., First-time Session - Monica Jones). Next, submit your recordings by sharing a Dropbox link to your folder to [email protected]. If you have questions, please submit them via the form below.
What Happens After I Upload My Recordings?
Each of your recorded sessions will be reviewed, and feedback notes on each test client recording will be emailed to you for review. Use the feedback you receive to tweak and improve your counseling skills as you continue working with your test clients.
